Location, tracking & telematics data Precise geolocation data of the vehicle (real-time or periodic); route information; journey timestamps; mileage; vehicle usage; driving behaviour; vehicle status, performance and related operational information. Insurance administration; vehicle maintenance; legal and compliance purposes; service operation, monitoring and improvement; verification of vehicle use; incident investigation and fraud prevention.

Vehicle advertising: telematics data may support marketing and advertising purposes limited strictly to advertisements displayed on the vehicles themselves.

Not used for: telematics data is not used for marketing or advertising directed at the driver or user of the vehicle.

In certain engagements, The Better Cities Company AB processes personal data on behalf of its clients (the data controllers) and strictly in accordance with their documented instructions. In such cases:

For the avoidance of doubt, this section does not apply to telematics, vehicle or operational data processed by The Better Cities Company AB as a data controller for its own services, which is described separately in Section 2 of this Statement.
